For business owners, decision-makers and specialists working through complex decisions

The initial enquiry rarely reveals the full complexity of the issue and the implications of the decision.

My work usually begins where several parts of an organisation meet: business logic, market conditions, brand meaning, customer experience, operational realities and the knowledge held by different specialists.

I examine what lies behind the stated need, which areas it affects and what must be resolved before we start designing a solution. This helps me establish the sequence of work and whose knowledge and decisions will be needed at each stage.

Understanding the dependencies helps establish the order of decisions and who is responsible for making them.

01

I read the structure beneath the visible problem

Analysis · strategic assessment Recognising the structure beneath the visible symptom and the point at which the system becomes legible.
A way of getting into complexity I start by understanding the structure behind the apparent problem.

An inquiry rarely includes the entire case. Requesting a new page may reveal an unreadable offer. A marketing problem may be rooted in positioning, pricing, internal decision-making, or the lack of a common source of truth. A sales challenge may reflect product architecture, customer experience, or the sequence of activities in the organisation.

So my first task is analytical. I collect evidence, listen to people closest to the situation, research the market and map the relationships between decisions, motivations, resources, constraints and consequences.

I check whether the difficulties raised have a shared cause, which issues remain unresolved and what needs to be established before design or implementation begins. This allows us to define the scope of work and the sequence of actions needed to address the problem.

A01 · proof Strategic and system analysis I examine facts, assumptions, stakeholder positions, motivations, dependencies, operational constraints, customer consequences and long-term consequences.
A02 · context Understanding the market and categories I assess market structure, category dynamics, customer needs, competitive signals, open spaces, entry conditions and the importance of emerging opportunities.
A03 · evaluation Strategic direction I translate the analysis into options, priorities, decision criteria, scenarios, resource logic and a sequence tailored to the real capacity of the organisation.
A04 · architecture Related business systems I combine business model, offering, brand, product, customer experience, operations, go-to-market and governance in one decision-making environment.
What does this mean in practice? I can start with one specific issue and work across several connected layers where the situation calls for it. The analysis covers the connections relevant to the issue raised. The scope of the engagement defines which of them we will address, what I am responsible for and what I will deliver.

Working with people reveals the organisation's knowledge

Trust · substantive consultation Conditions in which real information may appear and how to combine professional languages.
Conditions under which true information may appear I create the conditions in which people can speak in their own voice.

Complex projects often contain knowledge that already exists within the organisation but remains dispersed among people, departments and professional languages. Valuable information may be softened, withheld, translated into a safer language, or separated from the decisions it should influence.

My role is to create enough structure and trust for the real situation to become visible. I ask questions that allow people to describe what they actually see, distinguish evidence from assumption and challenge a process without turning the work into a contest for status or territory.

Each specialist presents their assessment, identifies constraints and can challenge assumptions within their field. I bring this knowledge together with the company's objective and other perspectives to establish what it means for design and delivery. The specialist retains authorship of their contribution and responsibility for its substance.

01 Establishing a common context Business priorities, constraints, evidence, and decision criteria become visible to those whose input matters.
02 Invitation to substantive consultation Specialists can test assumptions, indicate dependencies, express substantive objections and strengthen the architecture with their own knowledge.
03 Combination of professional languages I explain what findings in one area mean for the work of other specialists: the opportunities, constraints and decisions they create.
04 Explanation of contribution and mandate Advisory input, decision-making power, executive responsibility and quality review are given separate and clearly named roles.
05 Merge the result Individual contributions come together as a single, ready-to-use solution with consistent priorities, linkages, standards, and implementation paths.
03

I examine the basis for a decision and the conditions for carrying it out

Sequence · decision architecture Six criteria according to which the decision is finalised and transferred to use.
From understanding to commitment I establish what we can decide on the evidence available, what requires a test or a specialist's assessment and who will take the work forward.

Analysis creates value when it changes the quality of decisions. So I work towards a structure that makes the case clear, the consequences visible, and the next action proportional to the available evidence.

Some decisions require commitment. Others require a controlled test, a phased investment, validation by a specialist or a designated review point. I distinguish between these cases and design a path accordingly for each of them.

The result may take the form of a strategy, governance model, development plan, decision book, brief, prototype, trading system, or a tool that allows the organisation to continue its work after my direct involvement ends.

01 The importance of the matter What is the value, risk, dependency, or opportunity behind this case?
02 Evidence Which facts, signals and stakeholder voices confirm this assessment?
03 Systemic impact Which functions, people, resources and future decisions will be affected?
04 Decision horizon Which elements require commitment, testing, staging or review?
05 Mandate Who brings knowledge, who decides, who performs and who confirms quality?
06 Transfer What needs to be prepared, and who needs to receive it, to put the decision into practice?

The practice connects six areas

Strategic scope · applied architecture I draw on knowledge from six areas, selecting them according to the problem, the connections between disciplines and the result we need to develop.
Areas where my knowledge is applicable I work on what a company offers, how it earns revenue, how it communicates with the market and what its customers experience. I connect these areas with product and service design and the day-to-day organisation of work.

The map shows the capabilities available to be activated. A specific mandate identifies the areas, roles and outcomes required by the decision and assigns responsibility for each part of the work.

01 · business Business model and organisational strategy Value creation, offer structure, revenue logic, pricing context, governance, priorities and organisational development.
02 · market Market, category and opportunity strategy Market structure, customer needs, category dynamics, competitive signals, open spaces, readiness and entry conditions.
03 · brand Positioning, branding and narrative architecture Value proposition, identity logic, brand portfolio relationships, language systems, strategic narrative and governance.
04 · product Product, service and experience strategy Product logic, service structure, information design, interaction sequences, customer journeys and retail experience.
05 · growth Market entry, sales and growth architecture Market entry, sales support, channel roles, test sequences, marketing systems, growth priorities and expansion paths.
06 · operations Operating systems, governance and knowledge Processes, roles, decision-making structures, information flows, sources of truth, tools, standards and organisational memory.

The founder's role has clear boundaries

Direction · mandate · authorship Five responsibilities that protect client knowledge, specialist autonomy and the coherence of the outcome.
The founder's perspective within the agency model I bring together findings from the different areas and identify decisions that require them to be reconciled. The client decides on matters concerning their organisation, while specialists are responsible for solutions in their fields.

My perspective connects the areas and guides decisions across them. Knowledge of the organisation remains with the client, domain knowledge with the relevant specialist, and decision authority with the person who bears the consequences of the choice. The Bom Dia Creation™ core is responsible for shared context, the sequence of work, quality standards and transfer of the outcome.

01 Direction and synthesis The founder of Bom Dia Creation™ identifies connections between areas, brings strategic findings together and defines the decisions needed within the agreed scope.
02 Decision ownership The client brings knowledge of the organisation, identifies the people holding authority and makes the decisions whose consequences remain with the client.
03 Operational knowledge The client's team makes the delivery realities, constraints, existing resources and conditions for maintaining the outcome in daily work visible.
04 Specialist autonomy A partner, creator or specialist retains authorship of their contribution, professional responsibility and the right to raise a substantive objection within their field.
05 Integration and transfer The agency core maintains a shared context, the sequence of work, an up-to-date source of decisions and information, quality checkpoints and the conditions for handing over the result for continued use.

06 / 06 · Closing note Practice · continuity

I prepare solutions so the team can continue working with them.

A condition for lasting results The decision must remain workable after my direct involvement ends.

I explain the reasoning behind the agreed solutions, who is responsible for taking them forward and which tools they will need. This gives the people taking over a basis for implementation and subsequent decisions.

Design begins when a person feels safe enough to stop designing himself. Aleksandra Sitek · working principle
